How to Edit or Delete a Posted Score

How members correct, edit, or delete a posted score — including duplicate scores, wrong course or tee, and incorrect totals. Covers same-day self-service in the GHIN app versus prior-dated corrections that require MGA Member Services.

There are two ways an incorrect score gets corrected, depending on when the score was posted.

Scores posted today (same day): The member can delete these themselves. In the GHIN mobile or My MGA app, go to Score History, find the score, swipe or tap to delete it, then re-post the correct score. No staff action is needed.

Scores posted on a prior date: Scores from a previous day cannot be deleted through the app by the member and are not removed automatically upon request. To have a prior-dated score corrected or removed, collect the round date, the course played, and the GHIN number, confirm all three are present, then hand the request to MGA Member Services. Member Services processes these during business hours and will route to the member's club or handicap committee if that turns out to be the correct path — the member does not need to contact their club themselves.

What to expect: Same-day fixes are immediate and self-served. Prior-dated corrections are handled by MGA Member Services during business hours and are not completed automatically at the moment of the request.
