Setting up your GHIN digital profile (first-time login)
New members can't log in until this one-time step is done.
What a digital profile is:
Your club or the MGA creates your GHIN membership — but logging in to GHIN.com or the MyMGA app requires a digital profile: the email-and-password login attached to your GHIN number. If you've never logged in before, this step probably hasn't been completed.
How to set it up
You'll receive an email invitation with a profile-setup link — from your club when they add you, or from Member Services on request. Click it, set your password, and log in with that email from then on. Check your spam folder — the invitation lands there often.
Didn't get one, or the email on file is wrong or missing? Contact Member Services with your name, GHIN number, and the email you want on the account. We'll link it and send a fresh invitation. Note that once you post a minimum of 54 holes, your Handicap Index generates the following day — and you can backdate rounds you have a record of.
One email, one login
Each email address connects to one login. If your email was previously used for a child's Youth on Course account or a guardian profile, logging in will show that account instead of yours — see Family accounts and junior golfers for the fix.
