Trouble logging in to GHIN

Article 1 — Trouble logging in to GHIN or the MyMGA app

Subtitle: The five most common login problems, and the fastest fix for each.

Suggested search terms: can't log in, login, sign in, password reset, incorrect credentials, locked out, GHIN login, forgot password

"I forgot my password" (or the reset email never arrives)

Use the Forgot password link on GHIN.com or in the app. The reset email can land in spam — check there first, especially with AOL, Yahoo, and Optonline addresses. If it still doesn't arrive, contact Member Services with your name and GHIN number and we'll send you a fresh reset link directly.

"It says my credentials are incorrect" (often right after joining)

This usually means one of two things: your digital profile hasn't been created yet (see the article Setting up your GHIN digital profile — a brand-new membership needs a one-time profile setup before you can log in), or you have two accounts under different email addresses — common if you signed up again instead of renewing. Contact Member Services; we can find both and merge them.

"I don't remember which email is on my account" (or my GHIN number)

Contact Member Services with your name and your current or former club. We can locate your account, confirm the details with you, and update the email on file so your login and reset links go to an address you actually use.

"It says my information already exists"

Good news — that means your account is already in the system. Don't create a new profile (that's how duplicate GHIN numbers happen). Use Forgot password with the email that may be on file, or contact Member Services and we'll get you into the existing account.

"Your membership has been archived"

This message appears when the club listed as your home club no longer has you on its active roster. If you're still a member there, contact the club directly and they'll reactivate you. If you've left that club, see How to renew or reactivate your MGA membership — renewing through an MGA eClub with your same GHIN number restores your access.
